Whenever there is a knock on the name of ‘Devdas’, the memories of all the previous films are refreshed on the pages of the past, for a few seconds, scenes, action and all the stories collide with the world of ideas at once. This is the reason that when Sudhir Mishra announced this film, the expectations of something different, new and fresh were tied. But there were many challenges before Sudhir. Sanjay Leela Bhansali made Shah Rukh Khan a Devdas. As soon as the name of Dev comes, his face comes out. After that, Anurag Kashyap has already shown his modern version in the film ‘Dev D’. Ekta Kapoor has also brought the web series ‘Dev DD’ in which she has shown the lady version of Devdas. Saw the film in the midst of these complications and finally all these dilemmas are overcome, because Sudhir Mishra has come up with a new and refreshing story in his ‘Das Dev’ as expected, when will the film turn, and where will it go. Where will the climax climb and will it end. You will not be able to predict what will happen next. He has taken characters from Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s novel Devdas, but his story is composed in the political background of the modern era. In this race love, deception, bloodshed and alcohol have shown everything in the race to save political heritage. There is a god in this story but he does not become a slave. Paro is also bold, she does not become weak due to love. Chandramukhi of this film fixes everything but is unable to fix her love. The film has been narrated by Chandni, she says, ‘Everything in this world can be fixed, business, relationship and politics except Ishq …’ Through this film, director Sudhir Mishra is doing politics in the country these days But the sarcasm that has been done starts going straight to the heart. Blood and blood have shown everything. Blood and blood have shown everything. There is a god in this story but he does not become a slave. Paro is also bold, she does not become weak due to love. Chandramukhi of this film fixes everything but is unable to fix her love. The film has been narrated by Chandni, she says, ‘Everything in this world can be fixed, business, relationship and politics except Ishq …’ Through this film, director Sudhir Mishra is doing politics in the country these days But the sarcasm that has been done starts going straight to the heart.

story

The story of this film has been composed in the political background of UP. Where Dev (Rahul Bhatt) has to take over the inheritance after the sudden death of Papa. He loves Paro (Richa Chadha) so much that he says, ‘I doubt everything I do but not that I love you.’ Dev and his mother are taken care of by uncle Avadhesh (Saurabh Shukla) and are so sorry that his wife and children themselves are upset with this. Devoted by alcohol and madly in love with Paro, Dev is immersed in debt. He neither knows his future nor does it matter to the presenter.

Chandni (Aditi Rao Hydari) means Chandramukhi’s entry to take care of God or to fix his life. By the way, people know the fame of politics but they do not recognize the moonlight. Can Chandni fix Dev’s political career? Does Paro, who weaves a moonlight to get Dev on the path, also become his target? There are many such things in the circle of fixing the life of Dev, knowing that Dev’s soul is shaken. The things that Dev sees are common to the political corridors but not to him.

Acting

In the role of Dev, here is Rahul Bhatt who has appeared in many films like ‘Fitoor’, ‘Next’ and ‘Jai Gangajal’. His good thing is that he has not copied any other actor for Dev’s character. His acting seems original. They are perfect in every scene. When they drink alcohol, they feel alcoholic and romantic hero in the scene of love. He has emerged among artists like Richa Chadha, Saurabh Shukla.

At the same time, Richa Chadha is also frozen in the role of Paro. He is bold and he has done as much as his share. But she has not been able to impress in emotional scenes.

Aditi Rao Hydari is glamorous in terms of Chandni’s character, beautiful, but in terms of acting, she seems weaker than other characters. Saurabh Shukla is cast in the role of a politician. Vineet Kumar, who has been seen in ‘Mukkabaaz’, has appeared here and has done as much in the special he has received.

direction

Earlier, Sudhir Mishra, who made films like ‘Hazar Khwheishe Aisi’ and ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’, also has his own look in this film. He set out in search of love and weaved such a story-trap for the three characters stuck in the chakravyuh of political heritage that the audience could not guess what was going to happen till the end. This is the specialty of this film. Which three films have been made about Devdas so far and the audience has also liked him a lot. With such films we always fear that there should not be any repetition in it. An image that has already remained in our mind about the role of Devdas, it ends in it.

He has not only shown love but also has shown how much waste is in politics. The parent who has entered politics, can also meet power with the killers of his brother. He will not even ejaculate by ripping off someone to defeat the person in front. Nowadays, to create an image, going to the homes of the poor, meeting people and eating at the homes of Dalits is all fixed. Since this is only part of their story, it comes and goes in the film, but with that scene, the image of today’s leaders comes out immediately. The good thing is that he has tried to show a lot in the film but is not involved in it. In the end, the film ends only after coming to its lead characters and life. He has saved Paro, Dev and Chandni three from becoming slaves in it.

Drawbacks

Talking about the shortcomings in the film, its beginning is very slow. It takes too much time to tie the role of characters. Aditi Rao Hydari’s narration sounds strange because her voice is not strong in the way of the story of such a dark film. His melodious voice makes this film weak. The reward is that narration is for some time only.

Music

Its songs take this film to a different level. The song ‘Sahmi Hai Dhadak’ is going to be relaxing. The song ‘Rangdari’ in the voice of Arco and Navraj Hans adds further strength to this film. By singing ‘Azad’ in the voice of Swanand Kirkire, the song shrieks deep inside.
