Movie Review RAAZI

‘Nothing in front of Watan, not even myself …’ says this and shows Alia Bhatt’s film ‘Raazi’. Director Meghna Gulzar makes very few films, but when she tells a story on screen, then she is immersed in it. Meghna is so immersed in her own stories that when the film is ready, you will feel like

It seems as if you yourself are present in that phase or situation. One such example is presented by Meghna through the film Raji. While watching the film, many times you will feel proud about the country, and many times you will be seen saluting the courage and passion of that 20-year-old girl.

Meghna Gulzar has made this film with author Harinder Sikka’s book ‘Calling Agreed’. This film is the story of a 20-year-old student who marries a man from another country on the advice of his father and works there as a detective. The backdrop of this film featured the 1971 war. In the 1971 war, how did the intelligence know that not only saved the country from a great danger, but also won the war.

This is the story of a 20-year-old Kashmiri girl, Sehmat (Alia Bhatt), studying in Delhi University, who is also afraid of injections and one who feels dizzy after seeing blood. But Kehmat’s father Wahid Hidayat (Rajit Kapoor) works for Indian Intelligence. Sehmat’s grandfather fought for freedom and at his behest, Wahid starts working for Indian Intelligence. At the same time, he has maintained good relations from across the border and has also won the trust of some of Pakistan’s top officials. Pakistanis feel that Wahid collects intelligence for them.

Meanwhile, the twist in the story comes when Sehmat’s father, Wahid, realizes that he has a tumor in his lungs and he is growing constantly due to which he may not be able to live longer. After knowing this, when Wahid goes to Pakistan, he comes to know that Pakistan is doing some very big planning against India regarding Bengal. On hearing this, he gets nervous and asks his daughter, Sehmat (Vicky Kaushal), to marry her daughter Iqbal Syed (Vicky Kaushal), the younger son of Brigadier Syed (Shishir Sharma).

When he comes back to Kashmir, he tells his wife (Soni Razdan) about this and calls Agreed from Delhi to Kashmir. Wahid informs his daughter, Agree, about this and agrees to the agreed father. Intelligence officer Khalid Mir (Jaideep Ahlawat) gives training to Sahama before being sent to Pakistan. During training, Samhita is told about a different world and taught. The habit of memorizing any number that helps him to learn. Agreed and Iqbal gets married, she comes to Pakistan from Kashmir. After this, the journey of Samhita starts… In the beginning, Samhita likes everything and she gathers information easily.

After marriage, Iqbal agrees and the two start loving each other. The turning point in the film’s story comes when a servant of the Syed family begins to increase difficulties for Sahayat. Since marriage, the servant of the Syed family suspects the consent and this doubt increases the difficulties of the agreement from time to time, and then one day the secret of the agreement is revealed… what happens after that and agree What Iqbal does for his country, whether they sacrifice their love for the country or not, and for what is the end of this love story, you have to go to the theater to see the film.

The story of the film is as serious as Meghna Gulzar has directed it with equal vigor. In the film neither an attempt has been made to show any character as heroic nor to attempt to degrade anyone. The film shows the love and loyalty of the people of both the countries towards their own country. The film has been directed in such a great way that you will not feel even for a moment that the film is going out of the story or any incident or emotion is being exaggerated. In the film, special care has also been taken of the locations, which makes it even easier to connect to the film.

Alia Bhatt is in the main character in the film and all the other characters revolve around her. Alia Bhatt has brought her character to the screen with great maturity. In the film, where the character of Aaliya shows the innocence of a 20-year-old girl on the one hand, on the other hand, there is also the passion to do anything for the country. At the same time, talking about other characters, Vicky Kaushal has also played his character well. Apart from this, Soni Razdan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajit Kapoor, Shishir Sharma and Ashwanth Bhatt are also seen playing strong and good roles. Not many characters have been given a place in the film, only those characters who are related to the story are seen.

Why watch the movie

      • There are many reasons to watch the film, one of which is to be associated with the real-life character of this story. This film is based on a true story. A girl who played a very important role in the Indo-Pak war of 1971 and helped to win the country.
      • For a long time, a film has not been made with such precise direction on such a great story in Bollywood.
      • This is Alia Bhatt’s best performance ever. Which can be turned to theaters to see.
    • … and the most important reason is that for a long time, such a great film on patriotism has not been made. If we talk about the past, we remember the 1997 film Border. Although this film has no match with him, but the spirit of patriotism seems to be a step ahead in it.
