“I like to bowl in the death overs, it’s just a matter of mindset”- Mumbai Indians fast bowler’s big statement

England’s left-arm fast bowler Tymal Mills is playing for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the first match of the season for the team, Mills bowled well and got the big wicket of Rishabh Pant in his first spell itself. Mills is known to bowl in the death overs and now he has made a big statement about it. In a conversation with MI, Mills said,

Bowling in the death overs mostly depends on the mindset. When there is pressure, you need to bowl tough overs. This is something that I enjoy. I understand that every time I will not be successful in my plan, but when I do, it is a wonderful feeling. Obviously practice is very important because when you are in such difficult situations it becomes easier to execute the plan.

Mills has taken 42 wickets in 16-20 overs with an average of 14.83 since 2018. During this his economy has been 7.78.

Mills returns to IPL after five years

Mills played IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2017. Mills, who was sold for Rs 12.50 crore that season, played five matches and since then he could not play in the IPL. Mills expressed happiness over returning to the league after five years. They said,

It is great to be back here after five years as it is a wonderful place to play cricket. I feel very good about playing in front of the crowd. We got a lot of support in our first match. We would love to see more of this in the coming matches.
