Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Alone: Movie Review

Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele Movie Review in Hindi

Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele Movie Review in Hindi
Many films based on the boy-girl road trip have been made in Bollywood. Fresh examples like Jab We Met and Jab Harry Met Sejal are in front of us. ‘Hum Bhi Akela Tum Bhi Akela ‘ has been released on the OTT platform, with Zarine Khan and Anshuman Jha in lead roles and director Harish Vyas.

In this road trip of boy-girl, an attempt has been made to do something different and new by giving a twist of LGBTQ. Heroine Mansi (Zarine Khan) is a lesbian who runs away from home when the boys come to see her. Hero Veer (Anshuman Jha) is gay, runs away from home at the moment of engagement. Both do not have the courage to tell their family members that they are gay. The two meet in Delhi and the situation is such that the two go on a journey together.
The story tells that the heroine Mansi has boyish qualities, such as – she is dominating, spreads things in the room, and wears a paint-T shirt. Can we call a girl like a boy on the same thing? There are so many girls and they are not gay. Should a girl be shy? Can’t she be cool? Can’t laugh
Wait, listen to the quality of the hero too, he keeps things organized, he speaks slowly. These things of her have been called the qualities of a girl. It will be called the work of the author who has used such arguments to create the pair of Mansi and Veer. Gay and lesbian were fine, but these ‘qualities’ have been used to merely spread the story.
Harish Vyas has also written the film and as a writer he disappoints. The film soon deviates from the issue of LGBTQ. It is not clear what Mansi and Veer want. They also like each other and also remember their partner. This confusion of theirs arises intermittently.
The film lacks entertainment. An attempt has been made to make the journey of Veer and Mansi exciting. Comedy has also been cast, but the scenes are so long and boring that the audience is not at all interested in what they are talking about. Their conversation is not interesting.
Harish Vyas as director has been more focused on making the film look beautiful. The set and the characters looked beautiful. Because of this, the film became such a beautiful painting that there is no life. An attempt was made to raise a big issue, but when the weight did not lift it was left in the middle. A twist is given in the climax, which arouses sympathy for Mansi and Veer, but by then it is late.
The kind of setup that the film has, Anshuman Jha as a hero did not fit. It takes time to accept him as a hero. Zarine Khan is the surprise of the film. He has played the character of Mansi well. She is comfortable in front of the camera. Other artists did not have much opportunities.
Overall, ‘Hum Bhi Akela Tum Bhi Akela’ is such a film that wants to say a lot but cannot express it properly.

Sardar’s Grandson: Film Review

Sardar’s Grandson

Sardar's Grandson
Film actor Rishi Kapoor wanted to visit his ancestral mansion, which is now in Pakistan, but it never got completed. This desire was in the hearts of many people, whose childhood / youth has been spent in the streets and cities that came to Pakistan in the post-independence partition and had to come to India by force.
Sardar (Neena Gupta) of the film ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ has come of age. The disease has become such that the doctors have said that he does not have much time. Sardar, who lives in Amritsar, tells his grandson Amrik Singh (Arjun Kapoor), who is doing business in the US, that he wished to go to his house in Lahore that his husband Gursher Singh (John Abraham) built before he died. Was. Gursher Singh was killed in the riots immediately after the partition and Sardar fled from there to Amritsar with his son. Now his son (Kanwaljeet Singh) has a big cycle business.
Amrik loves his grandmother a lot. When he feels that it is difficult to take grandmother to Pakistan, he decides to go there and bring the house to India. In today’s era it is not difficult to shift houses, trees from one place to another. This task is not easy for Amrik because he has to shift home from one country to another. Can he fulfill his grandmother’s last wish? How will it work? This is the gist of the story.
story written by Anuja Chauhan is hard to believe, but there is no denying that it is not possible. Yes, there are many difficulties in doing this and these difficulties are not visible in the film. This makes the story irrational at times. Logic seems to leave. Although the story has been dressed up with a sense of humor, but at times the film gets too filmy leaving the track. For example, when American reaches Pakistan and sees that his ancestral mansion is being demolished, the way he creates ruckus there is ridiculous. Although an attempt has been made to do comedy, but this sequence is not so entertaining that the audience forgets everything.
There is something new in the story, but it is a one-liner. To elaborate, a few more episodes are included, such as the breakup of Amrik and Radha (Rakul Preet Singh), Amrik’s mess with his stepbrothers over his grandmother’s bicycle company, the Lahore mayor’s scolding of Amrik’s grandmother. Vala affair, but they do not help in moving the story, nor are it entertaining. Looks like half-baked, half-baked. Especially Amrik-Radha’s breakup portions are not easy to see. It is only when Amrik comes to Amritsar that the film gets a little life. The involvement of the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan in the house shifting case and the matter becoming international has been dealt with in a hurry.
Kashvi Nair directed the film. He has introduced the drama by dipping it into the syrup of comedy and emotional rather than arguments. He may have expected the audience to flow into the stream of emotion and not get entangled in the debate of how to bring the house from Pakistan to India, but could not shed such a flow of emotion. The film is good in the last 30 minutes when emotions emerge, but this is not seen in the entire film. Although some scenes in between look good, but their number is small.
Arjun Kapoor takes time to drown in his character. His performance in the opening scenes of the film is poor, but after this he comes in color and his performance in this film is a bit bland. They should take care of the weight. His obesity stings the eyes during the fitness phase. Rakul Preet Singh did not have much to do, her role has not been written properly nor she was able to impress with the acting.
The acting of Sardar turned Neena Gupta is effective. He has breathed life in many scenes. Their makeup is not well done. Kumud Mishra, Kanwaljeet, Soni Razdan have done justice to their characters. John Abraham and Aditi Rao are Hydari’s cameos and Aditi is the only one to remember. The songs only extend the length of the film. The film needed tight editing and could have been shortened by at least thirty minutes.
The story of Sardar’s Grandson is interesting, but that is not the case in the presentation.

Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai: Movie Review

Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai Movie Review:

Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai

Salman Khan kept his promise to give a new film to his fans on Eid, even though Kovid-19 forced him to release his film Hybrid. For the past several years, Salman Khan has been making films to suit the likes of his fans. Similar scenes are composed in these films, which are followed by applause and whistles in the cinema hall. When Salman goes to do something different, his fans do not like it. And while repeating the plays there, they are criticized. Salman does not understand what to do if he does?

However, his latest film Radhe is produced in the same style for which Salman is known. Stylish action, vigorous one-liner, Villain’s heroic hero, cool romance and Sukhant after the fight. Radhe lacked just a good story. Do not know why the hard work is not done in Salman’s spice films regarding the story. It is a spicy gravy, with very little vegetable or chicken.

Rana (Randeep Hooda) comes to Mumbai and takes the city under the grip of drugs. Youth are getting destroyed due to drug addiction. The police have failed to clear this mess. Demand arises that this is the work of Radhe’s (Salman Khan) bus. In 10 years, Radhe has had 23 transfers and has done 97 encounters. With this introduction comes the entry of Radhe. Radhe makes a pact with two gangsters in Mumbai and then follows Rana. Rana and Radhey’s hide and seek ends in climax.
It is a Hindi remake of 2017 Korean film ‘The Outlaws’ in which changes have been made to suit the preferences of the Indian audience. It is simply a story of good versus evil or a thief-cop who knows from the first frame what will happen in the last frame. The point is, how will it happen?
Radhe’s debut is excellent. Within 15 minutes, Hero, Heroine and Villain are entered. The romance has a bit of comedy and some interesting scenes are seen. Even though the heroine Dia (Disha Patani) does not know the reality of Radhe, while Radhe has discussions in the entire city. But in Salman’s films, so much detailing is not given attention, nor do those who like him pay attention to these things.
Salman also takes off the shirt in the film. You will question what is new in this? This is a new thing. They do not remove the shirt while fighting, but in a light-hearted scene, they take off the shirt and have a vision of the body and the girls do not run away seeing their bodies, but the girls sigh.
Director Prabhudheva also knew that there is no newness in the story, so he has run the film at a fast pace so that the audience does not think much. He has directed the film keeping in mind Salman’s superstar image. A glimpse of Salman is seen in the character of Radhe. Highlighting Salman’s soft side shows that he thinks for the youth, is against drugs, girls become brave, he has the urge to do something for the weaker section of the society. On the other hand, Salman’s fight scenes have been designed keeping in mind the image of the superstar in which he picks up the goons like luggage and suffocates them with lightning speed.
After the opening hour, the film stumbles, it seems that there is nothing left to say now, then catches pace in the climax. Romantic, fighting and comic scenes continue to loop throughout the film. There is also a dose of songs in between. The songs have not been much of a hit without promotion, but their choreography and picturization are pleasing to the eye.
There are many fight scenes in the film, but they do not impress much because Salman is seen doing everything very easily, he does not have any kind of problem. There is a mess in portraying Randeep’s character as Villain. Sometimes they appear to be common hooligans and sometimes of international level, due to which the film seems weak at times.

Salman as Radhe maintains his dominance throughout the film. He is handsome, relax and cool, and presents Radhey’s character in the same fashion as his fans want. He is good in the action scene. Also, his performance in romantic and comic scenes is also good.
Disha Patni leaves her impact as Diya. They have got good scenes in the first hour, but have been forgotten in the second hour. Jackie Shroff’s character is comic touch and could have been given a bit more footage. Randeep Hooda has been effective as the villain. His look, dialogue delivery and acting make him dangerous.
Ayananka Bose has shot the film in an excellent manner. His work is of international level and this is also a big reason that you are attached to the film. The film has an editing sharp and is the shortest film as Radhey Salman’s career span of less than two hours.
For the past one and a half years, we are away from this kind of masala film, so seeing Radhe, this ‘hunger’ can be eradicated and the pain of coronavirus can be forgotten. Although the Radhe OTT platform has also been released, it is not tailored to OTT content but to the audience’s choice of moviegoers.
While watching Radhe, the most important thing is that it has to be seen at home. It is impossible to miss the atmosphere created by watching Salman’s film between his fans on the big screen with seats and applause.

Sandeep and Pinky absconding: film review

Sandeep and Pinki absconding

Sandeep and Pinki absconding
The film, Sandeep and Pinki absconding , was released in theaters on 19 March this year after being stuck for months and the cinema was closed after two-three years, so the film could not reach many people. The film, starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, was keen on director Dibakar Banerjee as he had given some of the best films to the audience.

The character named Parineeti Chopra is named Sandeep as some names in North India are similar to boys and girls. Pinky takes the name of the girls, which is the name of the character played by Arjun Kapoor in the film.

Just as both the names are unique and different, so is their background. Sandeep is a hotshot banker. English is the medium and gold medalist. We can consider it as the representative of ‘India’ which carries a hand bag of two lakh rupees. Pinky is the representative of ‘India’. Suspended is a policeman who his senior thinks is of no use. Root Wisdom, Hatta-Katta and Angry Pinky believe that people like him are just numbers and they are fit anywhere.
Sandeep and Pinky unite despite their unwillingness. If both have to save their lives, they have to support each other. They flee to Delhi and reach Pithoragarh. From there, there is a plan to flee to Nepal through a fake passport.
Banerjee underlines the unevenness of the people of India through these two characters. People with access use the police for themselves and they become the pawns of the police, for whom living properly is a dream. Pinky even once asks Sandeep that he has a degree, money, yet why did she commit the crime? There was compulsion in front of us.
Sandeep and Pinki absconding is not just a chase film. The story opens layer by layer and the characters are revealed. Also, both have to save lives. The film puts many things in front through these characters. Various issues such as corruption of police, men’s skeptical thinking towards women, the scheme of giving money to the poor have also been touched upon.
The opening sequence of the film is amazing. Some people are sitting in the car. Cars are being driven away on the streets of Delhi. Are rich Speak anecdotally about women. You don’t know anything about these characters, but there is definitely irritation. The camera is absolutely static and credit titles are running. Suddenly such an event happens that you are stunned. This sets the tempo of the film.
Sandeep and Pinki stop at an elderly couple in Pithoragarh. The role is played by Raghuveer Yadav and Neena Gupta. The mentality of the small town dwellers is also introduced through these two characters. The man wants that no matter how educated and educated a woman is, she cooks, serves and does not let the men get rich, then she is a slave of Joru. Also speaking English is a sign of your being intelligent. There are other characters of Pithoragarh, like a youth who is fascinated by Bollywood stars and wants to build a similar body. It has also been shown how the process of creating fake passports is going on in this town bordering Nepal.
There are also some shortcomings in the story. Not much information has been given about the characters of Sandeep and Pinky. Like why is Pinkie suspended? Why is it working for your seniors? Even though Sandeep is miserable with the family, but why is she not taking any help from anyone? Why does she agree to be part of the scam to save her bank? Sandeep’s attempted rape just before the climax is weak.
Director Dibakar Banerjee’s presentation is strong. He has worked very hard on the characters. The location and selection of artists is accurate. They have been successful in keeping the audience curious as to what will happen next. He has finished the film well. Anil Mehta’s cinematography is excellent.
Arjun Kapoor’s role is such that he had to be expressionless and he is good in this work. Although the dialogues he spoke at the beginning of the film are unclear. He also had trouble speaking Haryanvi tone Hindi. Parineeti Chopra impresses with her acting skills. He kept his character from the beginning to the end. Neena Gupta and Raghuveer Yadav were seen immersed in their characters. Jaideep Ahlawat did not get much opportunities.
Sandeep and Pinky absconding manage to keep the audience at bay.
Producer-Director: Dibakar Banerjee
Music: Anu Malik
Artists: Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Neena Gupta, Raghuveer Yadav, Jaideep Ahlawat
